Chapel Hill, NC (March 30 ,2001) - The Great Atlantic Lacrosse Co., based in Chapel Hill, NC, has announced it has teamed up with Major League Lacrosse (MLL) to host several exclusive Club Lax social outings at this year's major MLL events. These events include the Warrior Major League Challenge, the MLL All-Star Game and the MLL Championship Weekend, which includes two semi-final matches and the championship game on September 1-3, 2001.

Club Lax is Great Atlantic's loyalty club program and this partnership will give Great Atlantic the opportunity to offer its Club Lax members a once in a lifetime chance to not only attend a top notch MLL event, but also have full access to the Club Lax Lounge. MLL, founded by Jake Steinfeld, will start play on June 7, 2001 and consists of six teams featuring the best lacrosse players in the world, including Casey Powell, Ryan Powell, Mark Millon and Jesse Hubbard. The teams are based in Baltimore, Boston, Connecticut, Long Island, New Jersey and Rochester and will play a 14 game season. Five of these games will be televised nationally, while all other games will be broadcast in their respective markets.
