May Madness 2016 Champion

We have a Champion!

For the second year in a row, the Nike Lakota has been voted as the LACROSSE.COM May Madness Bracket Challenge Champion.

May Madness Champion

Throughout the Finals week, the Maverik Centrik held a pretty convincing lead. But the loyal Lakota fans put in their votes at the last minute to help give the Lakota a 52.7% advantage in the polls. Both heads throughout our May Madness Bracket Challenge showed that they were clear favorites among the pool of 8 and certainly are two of the most elite heads in the game today.

Lakota Close Up

Although not the newest head on the market, the Nike Lakota has proven to be one of the most dependable season after season. Constructed with a narrow face shape and a pointed scoop, the Lakota is more of an offensive minded head for any attackman or midfielder. The 17 sidewall holes and the modest offset nature of the head gives stringers plenty of room to be creative with their stringing. From high to low pockets, the Lakota will fit any style of play.

Not only have you chosen the Lakota as your Champion, but the Thompson’s have chosen it as their weapon of choice. The Thompsons bring a level of creativity to the game that has never been seen before, and the Lakota in its versatile nature allows them to play freely.
